The Challenge : How can a 21st century website represent the spirit of the late 19th century?
St Benedict is a unique proposition. One way this could be represented was by placing page menus on the right. Serif fonts are the closest in spirit that most browsers have available.
The client had a number of evocative photographs. A gallery with minimal page decoration was devised to allow these pictures the prominence they deserved.
